The Challenge: Treble Capacity to Extend Access
For a number of years The Oxford Knowledge Company have been working with the Portfolio Innovation Centre at the University of Northampton - providing secure and reliable internet connectivity and looking after the on-site infrastructure behind the scenes.
In 2009 the Centre trebled in size by opening office and workspaces on the first and second floors in addition to the original ground floor accommodation. This trebling in size led to a requirement to overhaul the entire network from switches and wireless connectivity through to firewalling and internet connectivity.
